In today’s fast-paced world, it’s important to take a moment to support those who face unique challenges, such as individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). As a socially responsible business, You be The Barista is proud to announce our contribution to The Multiple Sclerosis Auckland Charitable Trust, as we join to raise awareness and funds for MS Day on May 28th, from 2pm to 4pm (official World Multiple Sclerosis Day is on the 30th of May). During this afternoon tea event in Auckland (27-33 Ohinerau Street), we are excited to contribute to the cause by donating our exclusive Barrel-aged espresso coffee bottles for MS Auckland Raffle.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic neurological condition that affects the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord. It occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering of nerve fibres, disrupting the communication between the brain and the rest of the body. As a result, individuals with MS may experience a range of symptoms, such as fatigue, difficulty walking, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, and even cognitive impairments. MS Day is a remarkable initiative organized by MS Auckland, aiming to increase public awareness of MS and provide support for those affected by the condition.
