How to make an easy Espresso Summer Cocktail?

Coffee, Gin, Orange Juice and Syrup for a Energetic Cocktail

On a hot summer day, all you want is to take off your shoes, sit outside and enjoy the sun, right?
Well, before doing so, we highly recommend getting a fancy yet easy cocktail ready. A mix of alcohol and caffeine that will keep you up all day and night.
This cocktail recipe combine a few ingredients that we love independently and that work perfectly together.

What do I need to make a Refreshing Coffee Cocktail?

The list of ingredients is pretty short and you won't need more than 2 minutes to make this refreshing and energetic cocktail:
  • You absolutely need one or two coffee shots of any You Be the Barista coffee.
  • Some Gin (we recommend 45ml but this is completely at your convenience).
  • Simple Syrup, the choice if yours. You can also skip this step or replace it with a pinch of sugar.
  • Orange Juice (homemade or not, it depends on you, we won't judge)
  • An Orange slice for garnish.
  • And some ice (of course, we want a refreshing cocktail, it's Summer eh).

How do I get this Coffee Gin Cocktail ready for my guests and I?

We promise that this cocktail won't take you too long. This is because all you need to do is mix all the ingredients (except for the orange slice) in a cocktail shaker full of ice.

Shake it firmly and pour in a tall glass. Garnish with the orange slice. Easy mix, don't you agree?

Refer to the recipe below for more details on the dose suggested.

Can I mix Coffee with Orange Juice and Gin?

Coffee and orange juice are two drinks that many of us start our days with. The coffee will help you wake up, and the orange juice will give you a burst of vitamin C. Have you ever considered blending the two into a single cocktail?

We thought about it, tested it, and guess what?!...We approved it!

What are the benefits of drinking coffee with orange juice?

Nutritious: Fruit is the way to go if you want to match your coffee with something light and nutritious.

It's crucial to remember, though, that not all fruits go well with coffee, and certain fruits can utterly ruin the flavour of your morning brew.

Feels like Holidays in Paradise: Orange-infused coffee is a delicious pick-me-up that will transport you to a tropical paradise.

Does Gin mix well with Coffee?

Mixing coffee and gin offers a smooth and light texture. The cocktail flavour swings back and forth from coffee to gin to orange juice, which make the bitterness going away, while keeping a strong coffee touch.

To keep a good balance between the gin, coffee, and orange flavour, we suggest using a dry gin
